Let’s Go Aerospace, a local youth publication, wins a communication award.

May 7, 2024 Spokane, WALet’s Go Aerospace, a youth publication focusing on aerospace careers, has won an Award of Excellence from The Communicator Awards. The award was given to Top Drawer Media, the magazine’s publisher, in the Magazine Series, Campaign, Age Group, Marketing—Youth category. The Communicator Awards are judged by The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) peers. This is the 30th annual award season for The Communicator Awards.

The publication’s mission is to demonstrate where passions and professions intersect. Its fundamental aim is to inspire, educate and explore. Let’s Go Aerospace reaches out to kids who may never have been exposed to the nuances of the aerospace industry and the manufacturing that supports it.

The publication is distributed by subscription through like-minded nonprofits and deserving and underserved populations. The website for Let’s Go Aerospace is The annual print subscription costs $34.95, and educational packs are available upon request.

Top Drawer Media, the magazine’s publisher, is owned by Dean Cameron, who has a long career history in the aerospace industry. He is passionate about supporting and promoting regional aerospace manufacturers in the Pacific Northwest. Cameron would like to see youth exploring careers in aerospace starting as early as middle school.
